Strangers - including a butcher, an Army officer, a pro snowboarder, a K-9 police officer, a Wall Street banker and a Wall Street analyst - meet for the first time and are paired up at the starting line after completing a challenge to determine the order for picking a teammate. The teams traverse 36,000 miles through five continents and nine countries competing in various feats and challenges that test agility, strength and courage. Along the way, teams skydive 10,000 feet from a helicopter in Norway, compete in a footrace with locals up the 252 steps of Egarsios in Greece, and join a pit crew at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois to change one tire on a NASCAR race car in 40 seconds or less.
