Synopsis
Gary Cooper and Madeleine Carroll star in the imaginative and exciting thriller The General Died at Dawn from Academy Award-winning director Lewis Milestone. O'Hara (Cooper), a mysterious American soldier of fortune, tries to foil the ambitions of General Yang (Akim Tamiroff), a ruthless warlord who plans to take over the provinces of northern China.
