A young man set up as the fall guy in a string of brutal slasher murders decides he'll hide by sneaking into the forbidden subterranean realm of Midian where shape-shifting beings - The Nightbreed - dwell. Theatrically-released nationwide from Fox in 1990, the studio edited the film extensively and several scenes were excised or rearranged much to the Director's disappointment . This original "Director's Cut" has been considered a "lost"holy grail to horror fanatics 'until now.
